Before Road Tripping to the Track, Do a Little Prep

The 2018 racing season is right around the corner and we want you to be prepared! Whether you are packing up and heading to the ARCA season opener a Daytona International Speedway, or you’re traveling out west to attend an off-road race, we want to help you plan and prepare for the most memorable race weekend ever!

There’s nothing better than hearing the roar of the engines while inhaling the faint smell of BBQ and campfires. On any given weekend, thousands of race fans flock to race tracks across the U.S. to celebrate their favorite driver, favorite team and favorite sport. But you must do a little prep work to make your road trip one for the memory books.

We know the first thing you do is check the tire pressure of your General tires (including the spare). We’re also pretty certain you check things like alignment, tread depth, and any visible defects with your tires. Now that those boxes are checked, we want to help you pack!

In addition to your favorite racing t-shirt, a trucker hat and your friends, we want to help you prepare for the most epic tailgate ever! BBQ, chili, hoagies, oh my! Hosting a tailgate is no easy task but if you prep ahead of time, things will run smoother on race day. Lucky for you, we’ve developed a check list of what we deem “necessary items” to help you be the hostess with the mostess (is that a thing?). We’re leaving the food and beverage up to you. So here we go…

And if we forgot something, send us a Tweet @generaltire using, #AnywhereIsPossible.
