They are characterized by an aggressive and fearless driving style that inspires awe in fans, and envy in competitors. The list of Harley’s accomplishments in the desert since 1999 include three 1st overall wins, four 2nd overall wins, three 3rd overall wins, and 16 First-in-class wins. Parker 425 because its my home track and I grew up here.
Do you have a pre-race routine you go through before heading out into the dessert?
No. Get the car ready. I pick a song every year.
What other adventurous activites to you participate in?
Motorcycle riding, mountain biking and I mountain bike race. Snow Summit or Mammoth are great for biking but I cross country ride by my house.
Best place to go off-roading for a weekend?
I would come out to Parker because I know all the trails. I’d stop at the Desert Bar. I went off-roading around Parker as a kid so I like to go back and mess around.
If you were going to do a weekend off-road trip, what five essential things would you bring with you?
Beer, Music, Motorcycles, People to hang out with and Food.
If you could go to dinner with five other people (dead or alive), who would you pick and why?
Ted - the bear from the movie, Will Ferrell, Vince Vaughn, Jo Koy and Johnny Cash.
Top three road trip songs in your opinion?
Sublime, Luke Bryan and Slightly Stoopid.
Best road trip you have ever taken?
I went to Australia once with a couple buddies and we had to drive eight more hours after the 14 hour flight to go over and do a race. That was a good trip. I’ve always wanted to go to Australia and I got the opportunity to go race and see Australia so that was pretty cool..
Bonus question: If you could go anywhere on your Grabbers, where would you go?
I’d like to take my Grabbers and go race Dakar.
