Last Thursday was a good one for General Tire as multiple competitors rolled over the finish line in first place on General General Grabber™ MT tires. One of the first in was the #501 General Tire branded VW Bug in V5-16 class, followed up by other General GrabberTM-adorned trucks including the #26 Fox Bronco, the #619 Snortin Nortin’s Nova, the #73 BFI Racing Suburban, the #77 Spitfire Racing Raptor, and the #5150 Bronco.
In all, four Mexican 1000 finishers took home first place trophies using General GrabbersTM. In fact, most of our first place finishers told us they ran the same four tires for the entire race! If 1,306 miles of rough Baja terrain doesn’t scar these tires, we’re confident in saying that almost nothing will.
“Congratulations to all the finishers of the Mexican 1000 race,” said Travis Roffler, Director of Marketing for General Tire, “…to accomplish 1,306 miles through the off-road terrain of Baja is a win in itself and making a product that gets the teams to line without hassles is the biggest win.”
