But it was actually a chance for Hot Rod’s Elana Scherr to witness why Jim Riley and his team are true winners, in every sense of the word. And their 1957 Chevy Bel Air ride, the Rippin’ Rooster, did end up making it over the finish line…under 10 or 12 people-power, as it was shoved up and over the finish line as fast as the team could push it.
