Alton Jones Jr. put the HEAVY in the General Tire Heavy Hitters Presented by Bass Po Shops over the weekend. Besting 2nd place by 59 pounds, Jones did not beat the competition on Bussey Brake, he dominated it. Jones caught 19 scorable bass for a total of 81 pounds, 15 ounces. To put that in perspective, the other nine anglers on the water caught a total of 21 bass for 96 pounds, 10 ounces. Jones beat second-place Dakota Ebare by 59 pounds, 1 ounce, which was the second-largest margin of victory in Bass Pro Tour history.
