The name says it all: Heavy Hitters is the culmination of a season of the biggest fish caught on the Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour. To qualify for General Tire Heavy Hitters in 2021 the weight of an angler’s single largest bass from each event of the 2020 Bass Pro Tour was recorded. 40 anglers with the heaviest big-fish totals from those five events qualified for Heavy Hitters including 3 of TEAM GT. Ott DeFoe, Mark Rose, and Britt Myers will head to Falls Lake in Raleigh, North Carolina on April 9 to battle it out for the title of General Tire Heavy Hitters Champion. A unique event that pays big money for big fish, here is how TEAM GT is preparing to take on the field.
