With only one race weekend left in the Luas Oil Off Road Racing series in the 2015 season, you knew everyone showing up in a race suit was going to be at the top of their game and looking for the win at the Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park. With the stands packed with fans, the action went off Saturday and Sunday as Pro Lite, Pro 2, and Pro 4 racers vied for top spots. After having engine problems with his Pro 4 on Saturday, Carl Renezeder would come back later in the day in his Pro 2 for a 3rd place finish. The next day, after his relentless team worked all night on the engine, Carl powered his way into a 1st place win during Sunday’s Pro 2 vs Pro 4 Challenge Cup.
Hot on Carl’s heels was fellow General Tire team racer Robby Woods. Robby suffered mechanical issues on Saturday while running at the front of the pack, but there was no way he was going to miss out on a podium finish again on Sunday. Woods slammed on the throttle and pushed himself into a 3rd place finish that would end the 2015 LOORRS season on a great note for General Tire.
